Prior to joining ACG, Eriade Williams was the Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director for Congressman Robert Brady (D-PA), who represents a large portion of the metropolitan City of Philadelphia. She worked for him for seven years and in addition to supervising the legislative staff, most recently also handled the Armed Services Committee and foreign affairs work. Eriade traveled extensively overseas and to several domestic U.S. military installations in that capacity. However, throughout her time in the Brady office, she also worked significantly on healthcare, transportation, judiciary, financial services, housing and immigration policy, among other issues. Prior to that, Williams was a press secretary and the primary spokesperson for Congressman Albert Wynn (D-MD).
Additionally, as a consultant, Williams has represented youth sports organizations before Members of Congress and various federal agencies. She is admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland and has worked as an Appointed Attorney, representing indigent clients in felony and misdemeanor cases at their bail hearings.
Williams belongs to numerous civic organizations and received her B.A. from Howard University, M.A. from Georgia State University and J.D. from American University’s Washington College of Law.
